Looking for info on the adoption of my father, Ronald Archibald Collins, born approx 1901 - 1902, perhaps in January (not sure), maybe in York or Yorkshire (but not sure). Collins was his adoptive name. Adoptive parents may have owned or managed a pub. He served in the RAF as a sergeant in WW2. He died Dec 6, 1958 or 1959 - he was 57. Any info or tips would be appreciated. Thanks Betty. |

Don't really understand your question, looking for birth mother myself so I do realise your difficulty. Have you your fathers birth certificate and following that need to get in touch with GRO in Southport to apply to the court for the adoption papers, I'm not quite sure how this will work for you as its your father that was adopted as to whether your allowed access to the records. But its worth a shot |
