Ruth, Thanks for all those. I've saved them so I don't lose them. As somebody else said on this site, save everything because you never know when you might find a conection. Regards Pauline |

Hello, I am having difficulty in sorting out marriages for a William Pickup in the very late 1700's/early 1800's in Monk Fryston, Yorkshire. There are 3 marriages, and so far as I can see, only 2 Williams. The marriages are as follows William Pickup to Elizabeth Littlewood - 8th August 1799 William Pickup to Elizabeth Ringrose - 13th August 1798 William Pickup to Mary Robinson - 23rd January 1806. Which Elizabeth died before 1806? My hunch is Elizabeth Ringrose, but I really don't know for sure. Any help gratefully received. Pauline |
