Does anyone know if there's a way I can find out the names of two children born in Coventry in the 1950's when all I have is the parents names? Please help me these two children are girls who are probably still alive so I'm desperate to track them down. Any Ideas? Kerry |

The only way is to look under the surname of the father from the time of the marriage and see if the mothers maiden name is there. This won't 100% but it is the only way I have been able to find children of parents in the 20th century. Very rare for two couples to have the same names unless they married sisters. Hope this helps. Are you able to get to London easy. If not then 1837(.) is the only way. Unless your local Records centre has copies of the indexing. Irene |
