Christmas Humphreys any info please.

Judge Christmas Humphreys was born in London in 1901 and died in 1983. There is a Christmas Humphreys (14) born in Wales on the 1901 census. His father was born in Montgomeryshire in about 1845. Another family of Humphreys seem to have hailed from Denbighshire. Both of these families were living in Hope in Flintshire in 1901. |

My Maternal grandmother apperars in the 1881 census as a domestic servant of the Harrison household in Leeds. Namely Leah Humphrys , 19 St Johns Grove, LEEDS. born c. 1858 Llangollen,Denbigh,North Wales. The word is that she was a cousin to Christmas Humphreys the hanging judge. Can anyone help with a connection or any family info., re Christmas Humphreys. |
