Margaret To help you we need more information like: approx year of birth Place of birth Parents names occupation Then we can possibly look them up, depending on hte dates, on the 1881 census, 1901, family search or Freebmd. Jane

Hi Margaret & Jane, Family Search and Freebmd don't cover Scotland for censuses. As far as I am aware, the 1881, 1891 and 1901 are only available on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. It's a pay to view site but well worth the money. There are lots of members with the 1881 census so just post you message with all the details and one of us will happily look them up for you. Good Luck Regards Margaret
