Hiya all, Is there any chance that I could get a lookup on the 1837 if someone has a spare credit please? Im looking for the marriage of; FRANK (POSSIBLY JOHN) FRIEND and ELIZABETH, looks like either LEYMO OR CEYMO Plymouth, Devon. In either 1867/68 Thankyou Demelza

Closest I got to your Elizabeth was: Elizabeth JAGO Lander married June quarter 1868 ref:5b 620 in Devon But the only Johns were: John Friend Married March quarter 1866 cornwall ref:5b 620 John Lakeman Friend June quarter 1869 Devon Ref: 5b 342 No Franks

Demelza, I would think the surname of Elizabeth is Clemo - quite common surname in Cornwall. Pauline

Thanks for that idea Pauline On the birth cert it looks like clymo but ive been trying various spellings of it as i know how bad they sometimes were!.....i'll keep perserveering and im sure i'll figure it out eventually. Thanks Demelza

hi demelza, have you tried looking on freebmd. you can try ddifferent name spellings and with luck you might find the name that matches . also its free of charge. if you do find a match then its easier and cheaper to do a look-up on 1837 to double check. at the moment i have some credits so i`d be willing to help. julie

Julie, Yes I've tried both that and ancestry with lots of varients on the name.....still nothing. I'll keep trying! Thanks
