Hi Agnes, Your local Records Office should have a separate list of marine deaths. They are not normally included in the St Catherine's House index. You can also subscribe to National Archivist, www(.)nationalarchivist(.)com which has a list of deaths at sea for certain years. Do you know which year he(she) died? Lilian |

The family records centre in London have a separate section for BMD at sea/abroad. It's at the end of the deaths area. I'm not sure how complete they are though as I've been looking for one of my ancestors there and can't find him - very frustrating! |
