Please can some one kick a hole in my wall my gran was Elizabeth Atkins she married John Harris in 1915 when she was 26 her father is down as died she was born 1889 were we dont know her father was Napoleon Atkins a woodcopper. John & Elizabeth married in Islington London.He was a soldier. Astory told to the family that our grand family came from Irland how ture this is i don,t know an aunt who died this last year said they came from e/end London before that she didnot know. Please can any one help me

Aaron Atkins Head W 57 Surgeon Marion E Daug u 25 Napoleon Son u 25 Medical Student Alice M Dau u 23 Sidney H Son u 20 Francis Dau u 16 Hariet Servant u 27 Frances Wood u 17 Housemaid All Atkins Family born in Stepney. Address 232 Mile End Road London Shirley

From 1891 census: Napoleon E W Atkins 35 born stepney head of family Eliza 28 born Bow wife Lizzie m 17 born paddington daughter Sophia A 54 born Islington down as wife but must be mother. All were living in Oxted Surrey at time of census. No other Napoleons were listed hope this helps a little

Ties in with Shirley except were does Sophia come into it? She is listed as wife!!! now I am intreaged.
