Five of the years 1849-1858 have hardly any deaths transcribed. If you go to the freeBMD home page, there is a link to the progress graphs.

Freebmd if far from finished so its possible that she is not on yet. But don't discount a death in a different place. We had one in our family. We know she was alive in 1859 a daughter was born, then we found the husband a widower in the 1861 Dorset census. Now the only death we found was in 60 in Bath when we got it we had to do a bit more research and it turns out she was with her husbands Aunt which we feel we have now proved. Her Mother in Law and the rest of the family were in Wiltshire. You can check 1837(.)com to see if you can find her on the indexing. Good luck Irene
