I would appreciate that, especially James and Moses puttock if you've got the 1841 census. It might give me a clue to their parents. Thank You

Hi Clare I did email you, but not sure if you got it. Could you by any chance look to see if there is George (James) BYERS, born around 1836, in Lambeth, Surrey in 1841? Please! Chloe

Hi Clare Could you please look on the 1841 census for a James Palmer. He was married to someone called Martha and was a Seaman/Mariner. They would have been living in Bermondsey Surrey but I am not sure if they had any children as the only son I know about wasn't born until 1842. I would be grateful for any information that you can find Stephanie

To Stephanie and Chloe, Unless you know of a rough area in Lambeth or Bermondsey, I cant really do it as these areas are so large.

Thanks for the reply Abigail. All I know if that they were in the parish of St Mary in Lambeth. Sadly that's it! If that doesn't size the area down, the oh well!! I might be lucky one day. :-D Chloe

Hi Clare The only area that I can narrow it down to is St Mary Magdalen Bermondsey although I do know that they were living at 26 Chapel Place in 1842 where there son was born in the sub district of The Leather Market, so it is possible they were also living there in 1841. Stephanie
