Hackford Norfolk Baptism look up needed

Is anyone able to look up a Baptism for me for a John Bircham born abt 1788 Hackford Norfolk his fathers name was also John sorry thats all I know Teresa |

Teresa. I found this site today which is fab for Norfolk look-ups http://www.genealogy.doun.org/ go into transcription archive. Thanks for your mail - still waiting on my cert but I'll let ou know the outcome Zoe |

OK Teresa.......lots of finds with this one for you, so bear with me !! (By the way these were all at Hackford nr Reedham, NOT Hackford nr Wymondham, for future reference) John, son of John Bircham and Mary his wife (late Dunham, Spinster) born April 29 1787, baptised the same day. Received into Church July 15 1787. I decided to look further for any other Birchams and found quite a few. To John and Mary Bircham i found:- Elizabeth born September 23 1788, bap January 11 1789 William born June 13 1792, bap June 16 1792 To William and Priscilla Bircham (late Alpe, Spinster) i found:- John born March 9 1784, bap March 12 1784 (and sadly burial notices for John Bircham aged 4 weeks April 12 1784) Priscilla born July 16 1787, bap July 18 1787 Harriet born July 2 1789, bap July 4 1789 and a previous daughter called Priscilla Birchamwho was buried aged 3 weeks November 3 1785. To Samuel and Ann Bircham (late Francis, Spinster) i found:- William born February 24 1796, bap February 27 1796 (burial notice William Bircham aged 2 years 6 months September 14 1798) Elizabeth born May 18 1797, bap May 20 1797 Sarah born December 24 1798, bap December 27 1798 William born July 15 1800, bap July 17 1800 Robert Francis born September 14 1801, bap September 20 1801 Ann born June 16 1803, bap June 19 1803 Samuel born march 1 1805, bap March 3 1805 Charles born may 4 1806, bap May 8 1806 Martha born April 23 1807, bap April 25 1806 To Robert and Margaret Bircham (late Lloyd, Spinster) a son Robert born January 7 1810, bap JAnuary 8 1810. the rest of the records are unreadable due to damage and fading, but i think given the size of the parish its a good bet that John, William, Samuel and Robert are related. I also found a couple of other burial notices for Birchams that may be useful to you at some time - a Charlotte, wife of William Bircham aged 39, November 14 1803 and a Charles Parrant Bircham, bachelor son of William and Sarah, late Parrant, aged 19, August 13 1794.
