trying to track rose emmingham[nee HORNER] think she was born 1878? in rockley,notts. found her on 1901 census with help.she was 23 then&married to robert emmingham.can anyone help a desperate and very new to this beginner thanks.xxxx |

Cherie, the only Rose b Rockley, age 3 in 1881 is "Rose North". Are you sure of the surname? Could she have married twice? or her mother married again after 1881? Marian |

In your address bar type in www(.)familysearch(.)org/Eng/Search/frameset_Search(.)asp? Remove the brackets. It will take you to the free 1881 census search page, Just select u.k census and put in details. good luck |

Gamston is only about a mile from Rockley, about 3 miles south of Retford. |
