I have found my ancestors marriage on the web site for the Justice department,Victoria James Osborne to Mary Bendell 1872.Reg.No.4234. I've tried applying online for the certificate,but it won't accept a uk address.I think they married in a place called Ballarat. Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to get the details on this marriage? Many thanks.

Hi Susan Ballarat is in Victoria, have you tried to email the registry of birth, deaths and marriages at [email protected]? Tell them the problem you are having and they will be able to help you. Regards Trish
