I've just found out that you can obtain copies of wills and administration by post for a fee of £5 for a 4 year search. Records held are from 1858 onwards. For more information see www(.)courtservice(.)gov(.)uk/cms/3800(.)htm I'm sure you all already know about this but just in case you didn't (like me) thought I'd post it. Angela Born |

Some early wills are also available on line from www.documentsonline.pro.gov.uk , at a cost of £3 per document downloaded. As the address suggests this is part of the PRO website, which is also just starting to digitise WW1 medal index cards (surnames A & B available so far). Gill |
