I am trying to find several pieces of info all relating directly or indirectly to the same person. I have a Joseph Burnitt/Burnett married to a Jane Hambleton/Hamelton. Jane’s father was Robert Hambleton. From census info Joseph was born c1809 in Kenton, NBL Jane born c1815 in Willington, NBL They would have been married around 1830. Looking for a marriage date for them. Also have a Thomas Burnitt/Burnett married to Jane Wakfield in 1839. Thomas was born c1818 in Wallsend/Willington NBL his father was also Thomas. I would like to try and establish whether Joseph & the Thomas are related in any way. The family name for both is BurnItt, but is often mistranscribed as BurnEtt. Have so far tried all transcriptions on Genuki; LDS, Ancestry, and Family History Online. Really need the help of someone with VRI or similar, or specific Northumbrland parish records. Hi Tony, Thanks very much! The date and area for Thomas is very close. Wallsend is in Tynemouth. Right date for Jane, she was born in Willington NBL, but they moved, so could be her. Having mothers names should help prove or disprove it, eventually. Thanks for your help Tony. Debbie
