Hi Tracy Thank you very much for trying, the only varients of the name spelling so far have been Woodruffe, Woodroff(e) back to 1798 they (the males and most females) appear to have been able to write..all butchers, bakers publicans in Bucks Middlesex or London.. Again thank you Robin |

Robin, There's not much of Woodruff in 1773 - 1776 as there's too many gaps in years And there's variant on the surname like 1 of these in the years you've stated WOODROW, James Christening Gender: Male Christening Date: 15 Feb 1774 Recorded in: Turners Puddle, Dorset, England Collection: BTs Father: George WOODROW Mother: Eliza Source: FHL Film 1239252 Dates: 1772 - 1782 sorry - cant help you there Tracy |

For 5 years I have been looking for the birth of James Woodruff he would have been born 1773-76 but where? He married 1798 was a butcher in Iver Buckinghamshire.. Robin |
