Any good sites for looking for WW1 service records my grandfather Albert Victor Feaver was in the Royal Horse Artillary and i know that he had four medals given during WW1, he also had a brother who was killed in the same war and i need to find out about him as well. |

Margaret, For the WW1 survivor, you might find his records at the Public Record Office - first, have a look at their online catalogue PROCAT ... follow the link from their main website. Takes a bit of patience, but worth the effort. There are a whole load of microfilms arranged alphabetically for WW1 Soldiers - in two series. For the casualty, try looking at the Commonweath War Graves Commission website - it lists the casualties (ie war dead). It is unlikely that you will find any other record, as only records of survivors were kept unless a pension was paid to a dependent. All the best, Jane |

You could try 1914-1918 site (not sure of full address) but I know I found it very good. (must keep these addresses to hand!) Mary Brooke |
