Hi everyone I was just wondering on 1837 online does it give you the same info as the Records office I have only looked up deaths (cheery I know) and was wondering if on marriages does it give spouses surname and births does it give the mothers maiden name i dont want to pay and find its not done the way the records office is. Can anybody give me any advice please? Jan x |

from about 1910 it gives mothers maiden name. |

Hiya Jan The mums maiden name started appearing on birth entrys in I think the 3rd Quarter of 1911.Im not to sure when they started showing the spouses surname for marriages though anna |
