Emma Yes I do believe you have found them for me for 1841 the names and ages are all spot on - it doesn't give me more details as such but at least I know where they were at that time my sincere thanks Teresa |

Ok they are not on the norfolk parish records or the bvr. they appear twice on the family search site, but it doesnt give Marys maiden name. Could only find one marriage for William Hardy Norwich on Ancestry thats Maria Billing Wm Hardy 1829 Norwich Jill |

Thank you for the help so far the Hardy family have been found and I believe the answer to Mary Anns maiden name will lie in the birth certificate of Sophia the youngest as she was born after 1837 -- she was 1 year old in 1841 and was livving in Buxton Aylesham Workhouse I cannot find her on FreeBMD can anyone help here please.
