can anyone help........i am trying to trace my grandmother named Hilda Shellwell.......i dont know dob....or place of birth she married Arthur Farmery.......but again no dates.i believe she would have been born between 1890 to 1910 or there a bouts .......i would be gratefull for any pointers thank you |

i spotted the couple in wakefield but i dont think they are the link....but then i really dont know where she came from......are there any ways that i could get hold of her birth ..wedding and death certificates.....thanks for the help........i am new at this thanks |

There is a Hilda Thelwell aged 3 in Cheshire. Also be aware that there were Shelwell, Shelwall, Shellwall families (but no Hildas of those names). |

Diane You may know that YOUR spelling is right but no-one can guarantee that the spelling on the census transcription is right! |
