anybody got 1891-1901 census for Battle in Sussex? Trying to record of O'Sullivan family in the Hollington area, Mary Ellen and Michael Oliver. Seven children were born of this union.....can't find them!

Hi Sharon, On 1891 I found: Michael O'Sullivan age 23 General labourer born in Ireland. Mary O'Sullivan age 26 born in Deptford. Elizabeth O'Sullivan age 5 months. They were living at 46 Hyde Street, Greenwich, Deptford. On 1901 I found: Mary aged 35 and Elizabeth aged 10, again in Deptford, and Michael aged 33 Thomas aged 7 James aged 2 Michael aged 3 months in Deptford. The only thing is that according to the 1901 census decoder Michael and Mary are not living in the same house!! Don't know if this will be of any help to you or not, I couldn't find either of them in Sussex. Regards Gail.

Hi Gail, Thanks for message.I don't think it's them.Dates of Michael's birth 1872..Mary Ellen 1877..Last known address 217-223 Old Lane. Hollington Sussex Children possibly all born in Sussex Ada.Frank,lena,eva, albi or albert, david and don't know the other name. David born 1913, no more children he was the last.. They were living in Sussex from at least 1905-deaths in 1946 and 1955. If you know anymore i'd be gratefull. thanks sharyn

Hi Sharon, On Free BMD there is a birth for Eva O' Sullivan: June quarter 1906. Battle 2b. 48. Perhaps her birth certificate will help in your research. Also on 1837 found the birth of David O'Sullivan: June quarter 1913. Battle 2b 67. Mothers Maiden name is Park. I will keep looking for you ok. Regards Gail.
