Could anyone help with this?. It's a new lead I had this morning and it'll take me back a generation. On 1881 I have JOHN PEARCE living in Whitchurch, Glam. He was born in BRADFORD, WILTS in circa 1829> His father was called William and was a gardener. Does anyone have any access to a census that would give me any info about William and his family especially where William was born?

This may be father Wilts 1851. Searching: WOOLLEY-LEIGH51.TXT 12 PEARCE William 46 Gardener Bradford , Somerset PEARCE Elizabeth 44 Bradford , Somerset PEARCE William 15 India Rubber factory Bradford , Somerset PEARCE Louisa 10 Scholar at Home Bradford , Somerset This is the only John I can find about the right age and born Bradford. Robin, that's absolutely great. I'm supposing that by 1851 John may well have moved to London which is where most of his children were born. I have John's marriage cert and his father is definitely William so, for the moment, I'll assume that William is my ggg grandfather. Many, many thanks.
