advise help with fbmd and 1837

hi i,ve spent days searching both sites looking for the marriage of charles dogget and jane? who had a child c1849 and then charles and maria? who had a child c1858, i think this man maybe one and the same but cannot find info for either dates and have looked on 1837 a few years either side any advise as what to do next would be great marcie x charles was christened 13/06/1824 st peters church in st albans herts |

Found on Ancestry .co.uk. Charles Dogget married q/e March 1848 Bath vol 11 pge 12, there is a Jane listed but her surname was obviously not clear as it just states Jane J*. You could send off for cert. and see if you can make it out! Steph |

hi stephanie thanks for that, i had seen that on 1837, but does,nt show wifes name, i suppose its possible that they married in bath and returned to bushey, i may send for certificate although i don,t know janes maiden name, i suppose it will name charles father and occupation marcie x p.s. don,t suppose it lists a jane doggetts death at all much appreciated, sometimes i just need to run it past someone |

there is a Jane Doggett died q/e sept 1898 Watford, Herts vol 3a page 421. That's near Bushey, isn't it? She was 78 when she died. Steph |

hi stephanie yes that almost one and the same place, i wonder if they divorced, would they have done that in those days do you think?, i think i have found a marriage of charles to maria in clapham surrey, of course unless i check certificates i could have the wrong people in charles and jane, what to think really many thanks for the info marcie x |
