These two pages are (should be) Willenhall 1871. I re-checked on the name index from the walsall web site and got BRIERLEY Fiche 169 pg 68a (King St) BRIERLEY Fiche 171 85a. (Croft St) Who I am actually looking for is Samuel (age 5) and his mother Harriet. His mother was unwed at the time of his birth. Thanks Pauline |

Which town in Staffs do you mean? Walsall Local History Centre have census returns for the whole of the Walsall area, including Darlaston. Smethwick Library covers West Bromwich, Wednesbury, Rowley Regis and Hill Top. Wolverhampton Archives cover Wolverhampton, Bilston and the villages around Wolverhampton, so you need to know the town, as there are three different places covering different areas. If you need the Walsall area I can look it up for you. |

I have the two refs RG10/2942 pg 68a and RG10/2943 pg 85a. Allegedly there are Brierley's listed on those two pages. Is anyone able to look them up for me, and send me all details? Thanks in advance, Pauline |
