thanx chloe and pauline.soz aint logged on sooner my little boy poorly.that census info was great.ive been to see my grandad today to see if he could help anymore.annie has been married 3 times her first husband died in the zulu wars??her second was my grt grt grandad joseph,he left her for another women which could explain why he was present on the 1891 census but not on 1901.her third marriage was in her elderly years to a man named jim/james moore.all my grandad could add was annie was born in the 1860's,he still swears her maiden name was horner.thanx for your help be grateful if you could help any further.cherie.xxxx

Do we know the name of Annie's husband? there are a number of marriages for Binns on the yorkshirebmd org uk site, which have an annie as the spouse. Alternatively there are some Annie Horner birth records on that same site (north leeds 1866 and 1868). Pauline

Annie's maiden name, but have found the family on 1891: Joseph Binns, head, mar, 26, wool comber, Yorkshire Thornton Annie Binns, wife, mar, 24, Yorkshire Leeds Harry Binns, son, 3, Thornton, blind Mary Ann Binns, daur, 1, Thornton at 14 Sapgate Lane, Thornton, Yorkshire In case you haven't already seen it. cnt win 2day every corner i turn i get stuck!!looking for annie binns[nee horner]found her on 1901census cnt locate her on 1881 or 1837online either.on 1901 she was reg as annie binns[34]b leeds it gave 3children mary[11]royal[9]david[3]all born thornton.the family were living in wilsden. ive had two relatives already mistranscribed[her son david[my grt grandad jack david binns]and his future wife clara emmingham[reg as dora emmingham]if she was 34 on the 1901 census that wud av her yr of birth as 1867 so ive tried finding her that way,just wondering if shes been added wrong somewhere or my grandad was wrong bout her maiden name??anyone shed any light????thanx.
