Andrea You'll need a little more information than that. Like the place of death. If you have the place and year you can search the 1837 site for a death. Once you have your cert it should tell you how old they were at death. You will now have an approximate year of birth (give or take a year). But do bear in mind that sometimes the informant didn't know the dead persons age so may have guessed. Now you have the year of birth you can search for them by other means such as census returns, the IGI and 1837. Jeanette |
