I am looking for my great grandmother, Annie Sophia Phillips' relatives. My Grandmother was called Elizabeth Carr and was born in 1908 in Barnsley. Her mother was called Annie Sophia Phillips and she married Thomas Carr. Thomas Carr later died and Annie married his brother (George Andrew) at South Elmsall Registry Office. I think Annie Phillips' family may have originated in Staffordshire but can find no trace of her in the 1901 census as Phillips or Carr in Barnsley. |
