Find Ancestors

Dawn I too have the Lincs 1841. I wonder if you would put your interpretion on an entry that interests me. It is Lincoln St Swithins, page 31 of 50, left-hand side, halfway down. The entry above "Richard Swain, 35 publican" - is it Louisa Arthur(s)?

Trying to find any Hunsley livng in Messingham, especially William Hunsley born 1806. Was born in Messingham and was living there in 1861 onwards so I suppose he would be there in 1841. Married a Mary around 1835. hope you can help. Barbara

Victoria, I think i may of found your George Atkin on the 1891 census. He was aged 51 and living in Gainsborough with his wife and 5 children one of them being a Herbert Atkin aged 23. Gloria, I looked on the census for you but there are no Hackfords in Salmonby in 1841 Lincs. Dawn

Victoria, Your Atkin family do not appear to have been in Humberstone in 1841, the only Atkin family i found were: Thomas Atkin aged 25 Agri Lab Born in county-yes Ann aged 25 '' '' George aged 3 '' '' William aged 1 '' '' I also found Maria Atkin aged 30 Female Servant The address isn't given. Dawn, All I have is the name and that he was born in Lincolnshire, And he had a son called Herbert. Dawn could you look up John Atkin in Humberstone, Lincolnshire - this is the other side of the family- I know John Atkin was born there and his father was George Marrot Atkin - his mother was Jane - I would like the address in Humberstone - Many Thanks Dawn
