cud anyone help locate a birth??

having trouble finding my grt grandads birth i know him as jack david binns,although hes been on census's as david binns[1901 census] on 1901 he was 3yrs old,born in thornton.ive looked on 1837 online from jan 1897 to dec 1898,need a fresh pair of eyes if poss??need to order his birth cert so need the gro numbers pleassssssse.xxxx

I think the name Jack was another name for John. Perhaps his birth certificate would be under the name of John

Did you read the post that Geoff and I replied to a while ago? We found David Binns, born in N. Bierley, which includes the village/town of Thornton in Jun qtr of 1897. I think that's him. Chloe
