Hope somebody can help. I've just received my husband's great grandfather's wedding certificate today, and on it it states that the lady he married was called Isabella Littlewood, and that she was a widow. They married in York in 1874. Isabella had a daughter from her first marriage called Elizabeth - born 1871 (not sure when). I know that Isabella was born in Tockwith c1847 (registers in Tadcaster district). Please can somebody try to find them on 1871 census. Daughter Elizabeth was born in York, and she also remarried in York, so I guess that is where she may be. Look forward to hearing from somebody out there I hope. Pauline Have found out that Isabella's first husband was called John Littlewood. Please can somebody check the St Paul's area of York for them. Thanks ever so.
