Thanks for checking Leigh. Unfortunately it is not frank who was the real target. I have no idea when he died. I am interested in Margaret/minnie/mary, his wife/widow. She would be my great-great aunt. I know that she died NYC in 1938. As there are so few, can you give me them all for 1920, and the matching names in 1930 (with household for both census' if poss) Thanks, Pauline

Louis 14 " Louis boarder 25 1911 Italy Electrician. Alfonzo MAGURNO 34 1909 Italy Operator Factory (Parents born Italy). Josephine 21 1905 Italy. Lawrence 5 New York. Alfonzo 3 Connecticut. Charles 1 month New York. Now I am really confused. Mary/Margaret/Minnie (b~1870) in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales, was previously married to a Robert McIntosh (allegedly a policeman/prison Officer) and according to letters sent back to England, have kids born around 1909-1910. Don't know to which husband, but it doesn't look like Magurno does it?. I have actually seen a copy of her death certificate, so maybe she married him later, although you can't locate a 'Frank' on 1930 either. Aargh! Pauline

Leigh, The copy certificate is with another member of the family. Her address was either 5th street (most likely) or 5th Avenue, New York City. She actually died in a hospice and it was late 1930's (1938?). Don't recall anything about the informant. I do not think that it was a family member. Sorry, I thought this was going to be so simple with so few Magurno around. There is supposed to be (at my local history centre) an index of UK-born citizens for the USA 1910 census. Maybe I should try that first to get an address/ the kids'details?. Pauline
