Hello, Does anyone have access to the London 1871 census by any chance? I'm looking for Harris (bit common I know!) in Highbury/Finsbury/Islington. The names I am looking for are James, Elizabeth and Henry. James married Elizabeth and in 1881 were living at 22 Albany Place in Highbury. In 1891 Henry (James son) was living at the same address. He married twice, both times to an Elizabeth. In 1881 Henry and the first wife Elizabeth were living at 1 Hollingworth Street. Any help gratefully received. Thanks, Sarah xx

HI Sarah I checked both addresses in 1871 and there were no Harris's at those addresses. I have a partial name index for 1871, but there were no Harris's for the area you are looking, but this index isn't complete. Sorry. Lynda

Sorry to ask again but would you please let me know who was living there at the time as I may be able to link them to my tree with a bit of further investigation. I know I'm probably clutching at straws but I am desperate!! Thanks.
