Hello I'd be very grateful if someone could look on the 1891 census for the St George's in the East Industrial School in Gipsy Lane, East Ham, please. My relatives Frederick Edward Goldingay (41), his wife Emily (38), their sons Frederick (17), Henry (14), and Ernest (6) should be on there, as should Emily's mother Georgina Best (58) and possibly her sister, Emily Bissell (60). Apart from the children, all these people worked at the school, so should be in the very first couple of pages of entries about the school; sorry to ask for several people at once, but hopefully they would be within a couple of lines of each other. Many thanks in advance Lysianne Egan |

Dear Susie, Ruth and Rosemary Thank you very much for all your help - it is very much appreciated. All those Goldingays, including the ones in Bostock Street, are "mine" - Charlotte is the mother of Frederick Edward, and Arthur and Henry are his brothers. I know all the missing names, too, so that is wonderful. And the Georgina Best in Bostock Street is one of mine, and what she's doing there is helpful new info. I am new to genesconnected today, and am really grateful for all your help. Lysianne |
