Yes thanks for the warning, my anti virus is upto date, its set up to do it without me activating anything it does it as long as I am on line. I also do not open just anything, they are getting dab hand at putting in the subject names and subjects that just might be of interest, if in doubt delete it. If it has an old subject heading I may email the person and see. Only have the subject show on the screen, no preview of an email, I didn't realise that this lets them through until I have a virus which also took out my anti virus and all my mine programs it was a pain. Also put .. with nothing in the email address in my address book, that goes to the top of the address book and stops them from sending as it warns you first no email address. So anyone sending me emails, if I haven't replied, sorry, it may have been deleted by mistake, better safe than sorry. Irene

I agree Linda I got attempted 25 times since 27/01/03 (Thankfully have good up to date constantly updated antivirus and firewall) with this novarg and mydoom please please if you can buy a comp pay the extra and get a good anti virus even AGV is free !A lot of these viruses get so big is because people just dont have antivirus and so is so very easily spread even with broadband you need a firewall! Just think you wouldn't go out without locking the door to your house or car or sit in your house with all your windows open not sat in the room! well thats my words of wisdom for the day! Jan x

Many thanks for that timely reminder to update my anti-virus software. I use the free version of AVG. There can be no excuse for not having antivirus software. It's not just your own computer that you are putting in danger but everyone in your address book. Please, please for those out there who dont have antivirus software - get some.
