All I can tell you is that immigrant records since 1936 are held at the Dept. of Citizenship and Immigration, Canada. Their website at www.cic.gc.ca is no help however, so I suggest that you send an e-mail to the [email protected] with the name about which you are enquiring. If it doesn't return as undeliverable, be sure that someone on the Minister's staff will reply, after all, your relative may be a voter. Ron Mattey, Ontario

Hi Lisa, Sorry that I am not able to help you on this but myself and Georgina Clements are looking for similar searches in Canada. He have also placed messages on the board. Can you please keep us informed if you find anything. Regards Margaret

I'm looking for a relative who 'possibly' emigrated to Canada in 1987. Is there anyway i can look up just a name on a record so I no whether to look in Canada or England. Any help will be much appreciated.
