All I can tell you is that immigrant records since 1936 are held at the Dept. of Citizenship and Immigration, Canada. Their website at www.cic.gc.ca is no help however, so I suggest that you send an e-mail to the [email protected] with the name about which you are enquiring. If it doesn't return as undeliverable, be sure that someone on the Minister's staff will reply, after all, your relative may be a voter. Ron Mattey, Ontario |

I'm looking for a relative who 'possibly' emigrated to Canada in 1987. Is there anyway i can look up just a name on a record so I no whether to look in Canada or England. Any help will be much appreciated. |
