Hi Julie, I used to live in Chobham Road - next street to Henniker! Mum was born in Major Road - just round the corner! When was your dad born and what school did he go to? Maybe they knew each other ??? Maz. XX

george william heath married to elsie king. Assume that they married in the period preceding your father's birth (at least to begin with). Go to your local reference library, where they will probably have the GRo indexes. Start looking through marriages for one partner. When you find a matching name (anywhere in the country), look for the name of the other partner for the SAME QUARTER + YEAR. If the references match, then you probably have their marriage. Send off for that certificate, and it should contain the two partner's fathers, and the bride/groom ages. Lokk for those births. Then look for their parents' marriages PAuline

hi can any1 help me please i am now stuck.new to this dont no where to start.all i no is that my father charles heath born henniker road stratford east london.his father george william heath married to elsie king.but thats all i no unfortuatly my father has died and so has his sister so i dont no where to go from here.if any1 can help it would be very gratful.thank you
