Hi Jenny, Welcome to the mad, mad , world of super sleuths, I'm sure you will get lots of help on here as you've found out already with your starting point. I fairly new myself just over two weeks but feels like a lifetime already and like they say once you start you can't stop, it can be rewardingand also very annoying, thats why you hear the term brick wall all the time, but don't worry there are many peole on here with ruddy great sledgehammers. Enough of that, I found some information that might or might not be your family, but it is worth making a note of these names and birthdates as they were all born in the same area and about the same time as your g.g.grandfather so when you start digging a little deeper who knows one or two of these could be yours, ask your living relatives if they recognise any of them. All born in Old Hill, Staffs. Civil Parish: Rowley Regis. All Feakes: Sarah (1) b.1990, Alfred (6) b.1895, Robert (6) b.1895, Joseph (8) b.1893, Sylvia (10) 1886, Thomas (15) b. 1886.
