i'm looking for my g-g-g grandparents who were living in Stockton on Tees in August 1871 and would really appreciate a census lookup for the 1871 census for: George Rawson age 34/35 a shoemaker, born Armley, Leeds and possibly living at York Street Stockton Mary Malony (or Mary Riley) age 35/36, born Ireland, possibly a widow and possibly living at York Street Stockton. thanks Sharon |

Hi Sharon, Stockton on Tees definitely Durham County in 1871. Think in might come under Tees Valley these days. Debbie |
