Help Please re Sarah Ann Wise, Newington 1857?

Can anyone give me any help at all as I've run out of ideas to find my g grandmother's birth. I've found her on 1881 (b St Mary Newington), 1891 (b London, Surrey) & 1901 (b Borough, London). From the ages it appears she was born in 1857. I know from her marriage cert that her father was Charles William Wise (government agent) and from my grandmother that her mother was Sarah Wissenden. I sent for a cert for 4th Qtr 1857 b Newington but that was wrong parents. The only other entry I can find is 2nd Qtr 1857 Rotherhithe but that one is wrong parents as well. Jane

Hi Jane Have a look at Freebmd.rootsweb.com there are several Sarah Ann Wise on there although the dates are wrong. Charles William Wise and Sarah Wisunden marriage is on there. St Lukes Sept 1850 no 2 302. As they married in 1850 sarah could have been born any time after that date. Also from the information you have given us it seems that she changes her place of birth according to where they are living which is quite common but unfortunately this doesn't help you. Don't know if you already have these details but on IGI there's the christening of a Sarah Ann Wissenden 9/5/1823 in Faversham. Also her sisters Amy 02/07/1817 and Eliza 20/08/1820. Parents were William and Mary.
