My family name is BREWER and the only oldest Brewer I know was a Samuel Henry Brewer born in Feb 1901. I am not too sure as to where he was born and I do not have any knowlege of who his parents other than the fact his mother re-married and Samuel then had a step brother by the name of Edward (ted) Iggleston. I believe they grew up for a time in Woolwich and later lived in Woodford in Essex where he then went on to have 4 children. I do not know how I can find information on his parents or anything. How do I look this up? I really would appreciate any information you could provide me with. |

Hi Samantha, Samuel Henry Brewer born Jan-Mar 1901, West Ham. GRO reference volume 4a, page 368. If this sounds like the right one you could get a copy birth certificate from the GRO to get his parents' names. Rick. |

He is on 1901 as Henry Brewer, 6wks, born West Ham Union, Leytonstone, Essex, so it's a case of searching the workhouse as no other place is shown. |
