Janet, Yes thanks I've got all those :-) Rosemary - I think I've already applied for that one in error;wrong Thomas ! I've actually taken the plunge and looked on 1837online tonight (wasn't as painful or expensive as I thought it would be (I had reservations because of the surname)), and found another record for December 1849 for Buckingham (6 363) Thanks again |

Can anyone help me find a birth for my GGfather ? His name was Thomas SMITH (not helpful), born Abt 1849. His family lived in Gawcott, Bucks, so the registration would most likely be BUCKINGHAM (although someone suggested I also try Winslow). I have his baptism date, 25th Nov 1849 at Gawcott (thanks Ruth !), but haven't been able to find his birth as yet... |
