Birth look-up 1892

searching for info on Arthur Flanagan born possibly York on 26/10/1892, POW 1916-1918, married in York Dec 1919 and died in York on 21/10/1965. I havn't been able to find any birth records on any search I have done so any help would be gratefully received.

Dawn, Found this on Yorkshire BMD Yorkshire Birth indexes for the years: 1892 FLANNAGAN Arthur J Hunslet Leeds HUNS/152/400 Have you managed to find him on 1901 census? Emma.

Dawn, Do you have his father's name from his marriage certificate? I could take a look on 1891 census and try and spot him, it might give an indication of whereabouts the family were from. Emma

His Father was also Arthur Flanagan

Dawn, What about this I just found it on 1901 census: Arthur Flanaghan 7 Yorks York Using the decoder as far as I can tell he is with Mary Flanaghan, 32, York, York, housekeeper domestic Could this be him do you think? Emma.

the spelling of Flanagan is different but be worth checking out thanks
