Hi All I am looking for Richard Guy born 1820 Marske ,Yorkshire He was marrid in 1846 in Marske but on the !851 Census his wife Sarah was a widow? He was a sailor and I have looked at the burial records for that area and can't find him. Please I would be most grateful Regards Ann

Hi Ann I think from memory that they keep seperate registers for deaths at sea, I'm sure the ones at my local library are kept on microfiche. Sharon

Hi Ann - yes deaths at sea are in separate registers not yet on 1937 on-line. Suggest you ring the General Register Office at Southport direct and they will be able to guide you. Maz. XX
