1861 look up for Yorkshire please

Chris Yes that is my Emma and William and have looked on Stockton amd so has some one else. Feed you Son and when you get time we all make mistakes me more than anyone else. Ann

Hi Ann Just had another quick look in Gilling. Found Emma, William and 2 daughter's but no sign of any of her other family (was Williams father called Michael) Was John still alive in 1871 and do you know where he was in 1861, could he still be in Stockton. Joe my son has just come in he's starving .so I'll start looking in the other villages later tonight if that's ok Chris I realise why I can't find them now.You asked for a 1861 look-up and I'm looking in 1871, SORRY

Well Chris, this one too is a mystery in 1851 he is a Draper in Stockton and his Daughter Emma was 5 and she married in Gilling a William Lazenby 1866 and on her marraige cert her father John Watson was down as a Gardener and Emma was residing in Gilling, now he either hit bad times or I have the Wrong Watson Family, so he could be at another village near by do you mind looking !851 census in Stockton John watson 34 Ann Watson 30 mary Ann Watson dau 8 John son 6 Emma 5 Edwin 2 Henry 1 month On the 1881 for Emma she is born Middlesboro. Sorry Ann There was a few Watson family's in Gilling but none of them matched the family you are searching for.Maybe he was in one of the other surrounding villages,did he work on a farm by any chance.I ask because one of my ancestors was a farm labourer in the same area and he's being a b****r to find. Will some kind soul who has the 1861 Census for Yorkshire look up Gilling Nr Richmond, Yorkshire and see if there is a Family called Watson living there John Watson Head Ann Watson Wife Emma Watson John Watson Edwin Watson Henry Watson Thank you in anticipation Ann,Darlington
