I too wish to add my thanks to Max, who's help was very much appreciated for without it I may never would have found my elusive Irish travellers who settled in the east end . Thank you Max Much happiness Debi

Although Max has never done any look ups for me I can appreciate how she feels and it is vey sad that someone who is prepared to give so generously of her time ,yes, and money because paying subscriptions and purchasing discs is not cheap,has been so shabbily treated by people who are just plain ignorant of what is involved when doing lookups.There are some people who come on this site asking for info who give only yhe sketchiest details of what they are looking for and then expecting a miracle. We are doing this as a hobby and it should be something to enjoy and share.I hope the person(s)responsible for Max's decision are thoughly ashamed of themselves. IS IT TIME TO HAVE A BLACKLIST of people who are not welcome on this site? Good on yer Max Mary

Max I hope you are feeling a bit more appreciated today with all the comments we are sending you, i too have done a look up for someone that got abusive over the results and it can really get you down, but 99% of the people on Gc are grateful for all you do, and will miss you if you don't pop in to say hi.
