Does anyone have a few spare credits..... looking for Niana May Lyall/Lye for a friend in Australia. She was born in either 1888 or 1887. Sorry to be so vague. Oh yes, and she was most probably born in the West Country, especially Wiltshire. Please! Chloe

Hi Chloe, Have you tried checking on FreeBMD first ...or looking at the 1837 Saved Pages threads on this board to see if anyone already has the pages you may need ? If you find anyone with possible pages, e.mail them direct and they will check for you and let you know. Your details are slightly vague to ask folks to spend units on lookups ;-). 1837online is a pay per view site, just incase you didn't know. Good Luck Elaine :-)

I know it is pay per view. She's not on FreeBMD. I'm not a novice to genealogy. Oh well, I guess I have to wait until FreeBMD is complete!! hehe Thanks for the reply. Chloe

Hi Chloe, Sorry I have offended you, its just that so many people ask others for 1837 look ups without bothering to look them selves !! as if its just nothing. I think a lot of the novices don't realise just what they are asking when they ask for Walker between 1845 - 1885 ... ya now what I mean !! LoL. I realised after I came from writing the reply actually who you are but my son is running up and down stairs and he's supposed to be in bed, so I got whey laid in doing anything about my reply...sorry :-(( I have about 5 units, so which do you want me to look for first Lyall or Lye and 87 or 88 ? Elaine :-)

Thanks Elaine. You didn't offend me though, it takes a lot more. I know what you mean about some people, especially with ther requests for the censuses!! If you could go for the surname Lye that would be great, but only if the credits really are spare! And the year 87. Thanks love. Chloe
