Hi Sue Great to hear someone else is looking up family in that area, they actually lived in West Wratting but Linton is close enough for them to have moved to. The name is Vale and I would be really grateful for any info you could find especially marriages and deaths. Good luck with your search Rosemary

Hi Rosemary I bought the parish records to look for Thomas Gatward but he is not there! He actually married at West Wratting to Mary Ann Smoothy on 24/03/1824. So I now need to find that record to see what else I can find about him. Hi Sue There are a few Thompson marriages: 24/03/1663 William Thompson to Joane Richardson. Both of Horseheath. Marriage by licence. 11/05/1710 William Thompson to Mary Purkis, both of Linton. Marriage by licence. 20/10/1747 William Thompson to Mary Casbolt 11/02/1760 John Baldwin to Ellen Thompson, both of Linton. Witnesses: Thomas Redhouse and Mary Baldwin 29/01/1764 James Thompson (widower) to Ann Purkes (widow), both of Linton. Witnesses: Robert Adcock and Robert Salmon I hope this helps. Regards Sue

Hi Jennifer There are about 10 TWINN baptisms going back to the 1600's. Have you got any names specifically that you are looking for or do you need a list of them all? Regards Sue
