Hi Jo Am stuck with my kin, could you please have a look in the 1841 for me please? I have William DAVIES, born 1819 in Talley, marrying Jane DAVIES (nee Davies) born 1821 in Talley. They married in Merthyr in Dec 1842. Both parents just happen to be called Thomas DAVIES. William's dad was a collier and Jane's a butcher. On the certificate I have it states residence at time of marriage was Gelligaer Parish. Marriage solemnized in Hengoed Chapel. I know the first sibs were born in Talley then a son in Dowlais in 1850. I have found them in Dowlais in 1851. Can you add any meat on the bone please? Brian in Lancs |

Hi Joanne I am hoping you can help me with a couple of queries! William RICHARDS born 1838 possibly in Cardiff. Father, also William RICHARDS (a milkman in 1858). I know this a long shot as it is such a common name but have come to a brickwall so any help is welcome! If you check them on 1841 and 1851 please. Also Caroline GLIDE born in Somerset c1836 and who married William RICHARDS (son) in 1858. Would like to know where and what she was doing in Cardiff and with whom in 1841 and 1851! Many thanks for your help! Regards Evie |

Hi Joanne, Can you please do a look-up for me on the 1851 census. I am looking for David Morgan, born Carmarthenshire or Briton Ferry (depending on when he was asked!) in 1832 and his wife Margaret (nee Rees) born 1836 in Briton Ferry. If you can't find them together can you look for Margaret Rees with her family in Briton Ferry for me please. I am struggling to find their marriage certificate and this would narrow it down a bit for me! Someone has found them for me in 1861 already married. Thanks, Maggy |

Hi Jo, Would you be kind enough to have a look on 1861 census for a John and Elizabeth Parfrey - I have them on 1851 living in Swansea but wondered if there were any more children. As it's such an uncommon name would be interested in any others it may show. Many thanks - Jackie |
