Hi, would you be good enough to look for a THOMAS FREED on the 1891 census. born about 1876. I beleive his mother was Mary but I have not got his fathers name as he was missing from the 1881 census, or at another household. Would like his fathers name and age and I presume he was from Kent but not living in Kent during the census. Thank you Gloria

Sorry don't have much more info on the Levy & Anderson other than Joseph Levy I think was Jewish but not sure where he was born had 3 daughters by 1st wife who died ( don't know any details of her) but Joseph did remarry (again don't know who to). One daughter was Elizabeth Levy (my Grandmother) who at some time along with her sisters changed their name to Anderson? Elizabeth was born 13/3/1911. When she died a memorial card was found with the name of a John Anderson b.1875 but we dont know who he was so have no details.(not much help) Joseph & 3 daughters lived in Valance Road Bethnal Green and I believe that was wher the girls where born. Any info would be welcomed. Thanks for looking Jenni

Dear Constance its melanie who you have so kindly helped with the Chard family. Please if you have time and only when you have time could you please see if you can find a Ethel Jones parents John Phillip Jones and Hannah Jones. Ethel born c1877 in Paulton, Somerset any information you can find would be great as me and my sister pulling our hair out as we just cant find her at all and know she was born etc. Thank you so much Lots of Love Mel Just found out bit more info I was wondering about 1881 census. You wont find John Phillip as he died in 1879. Hannah is down as head of household, widow in 1881 and 1901 census. 1881 census living llandaff cardiff. 1901 census living temple back Bristol. So I dont know if they were still in cardiff in 1891 or nor not. I hope this is of help and that you can find our ghost i.e. Ethel Jones Thanks Melanie

James Report 27 Sep 2004 14:59

Mary, Thanks for the earlier look-up for MARROW. Could you possibly look for two sons who appear to have left the family home. They are Joseph Marrow b. c. 1843 & James b. c.1849 both born Hull. I think I have Joseph married to a Mary A. in 1881, no sign of James. Thanks Jim Brown
