Hi Jennifer I should like to take you up on your kind offer, but after tomorrow I shall be away from my PC for a week, and being new to GR I don't know how long these threads hang around and I don't want to lose you. I am doing all the Harrisons in North Norfolk, as much to eliminate most of them as to claim some. Were you born a Harrison, married one or do you not have any interest in them other than your name? So, all Harrisons in all Erpingham places is what I am searching for but in particular the name Miles Harrison anywhere. A direct message would be welcomed. Regards, Keith (Henry Gunther)

Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your kind offer! Could you see if there is a record of a baptism for a George Taylor at Burnham Sutton cum Ulph born around 1786. Also, could you see if there is a baptism at the same place for an Anna-Maria Taylor born around 1828. If they aren't there then they must be on one of the other Burnhams - but I would appreciate you looking in Burnham Sutton for me - many thanks! Cheers, Lynn

Hello Jennifer, I have two families who moved across from Carlisle in Cumberland to Middlesbrough in Yorkshire between 1870-72, so my problem is I don't know which town they were in for the 1871 census. Maybe you can find them in Middlesbrough in the '71 census for me. The first family are William & Mary Dean, with family Henry, William, John, Joseph and Ann, and I know they were living in the Westward Street, Hartington Road area of Central M'bro in 1881. Halliburton Armstrong, whose deceased wife was another of the Deans, also moved about the same time to M'bro with his two boys William (aged 6) and Thomas 4. He was living in Monkland Street in the same area as the Deans in '81. Sorry to be so long-winded. Kind regards, Gordon.

Hi Jennifer These presumably are Linda Stewart's transcripts? Is it worth stating that there will only be a handful of returns pre 1700, that they don't cover every year - bishop's transcripts were done in the others - and only go up to the early 1800s, being superceded entirely then by BTs? ATs usually have less information than registers, though occasionally a rogue entry is on the AT that does not appear in the register. Brenda
